Ok, so I assume that you’re a health trainer and are looking to inflate your reach beyond the usual social media sites – Facebook and Twitter. What are your options? Switch to LinkedIn? I would not recommend wasting your time with that site, it’s like joining a new MySpace but for resumes. LinkedIn also has a bad habit of overflowing your inbox with useless messages that you don’t care about, I mean who want’s that? Turning it off is impossible and confusing too.
Fortunately for you, I have been spending lots of time with Google+ and have figured out all it’s little secrets. It is still in beta, so it would be a good choice to jump on the ship today, instead of later on since who knows how many of the site features they could change and leave you hanging dry. Time to get started, shall we?
Dump Clients In Circles
Obviously, the most unique feature that sets apart Google+ is circles. It’s a lot better than Facebook groups and Twitter lists. You can throw in all of your clients and trainees into one circle and share only the content that they would like, instead of sharing health and fitness information with family and friends that probalby don’t care that much.
Then we have the ability to effectively “spy” on clients. Wouldn’t you want to know what everyone of your clients have been upto? And with G+, that is not a problem, just select the right feeds and away you go. It’s an advanced form of something people do on Facebook, and that’s creeping. Since your clients will need invites, before you send it to them, be sure to tell them how awesome it is to post status updates about their workouts to keep themselves motivated. This way you can keep an eye on things, but even if they don’t there are other ways.
For example, if they email you saying they missed a workout because they feel sick, but then 10 minutes later they update their status and say “time for drinking and a fun night out” – then you know you have an email to send. The bottom line is – make a circle of clients or trainees and give them the stuff you would share with personal friends. Below are a bunch of things you can share with them:

How To Promote Your Content For Better SEO
If there is one service that is dying, it’s Twitter Google said it themselves, that ReTweets will no longer count for SEO rankings because their very own like feature called +1 will take over. It’s all about the +1′s now, the RT’s just won’t matter.
One of the most efficient ways to get massive traffic and exposure is to first build a following then get them to share your stuff FOR you Circles let you be specific about who to promote content to. Then getting +1 is just a simple matter of asking. It’s amazing what you can get if you just ask your followers to “+1 your post if they liked it.”
Try it, you will be astounded. Another positive thing to keep in mind is that Google Plus makes it very easy to share and there is no annoying character limits to posting your stuff. Take advantage of this and throw in exclusive content and paragraphs into your shared content link. Your followers will value it.
